Inequality and Civil Society in the Era of Democratic Anxiety
We are living in confusing times. Democracies are sanctioning authoritarian rulers, financial abundance has produced staggering inequalities, immigrants are suspect in a world that is globally integrated, and governments seem paralyzed in the face of major problems. It is clear we are in a transition that is transforming our political practices along with our social and economics reality.
The distinguished panelists have thought deeply about these matters. What they say will help us understand the world as it spins on an unfamiliar axis.
