We applaud young philanthropists Suhina Agravat, Mia Silberstein and the students of West Bay School in Canada. These youngsters have shown that being charitable can start at a very young age. They collected money at school, in their communities, and amongst their friends in order to support Friends of Seva Mandir. They know how important it is to support critical causes like education, health, and nutrition around the world.
“Children are the living messages we send to a time we will not see.”
– John F. Kennedy
How true. At Friends of Seva Mandir we are so glad to see children getting involved in causes and movements that will make a difference for others both now and in the future. While the concept of giving is something that is expected of adults after a few years of work/life experiences, this illustrates that children can take initiative, learn about the causes and make a change.
Over the past few posts on our Facebook Page, we have acknowledged the efforts of our very young volunteers and supporters. It is always a pleasure to interact with them and learn about the passion that lies behind their actions.
Do you know a youngster who is making a difference in their local or global community? Please share it with us on our Facebook page. We will continue to showcase our supporter experiences on Facebook page and in our newsletters. You can also reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org and share your experiences. We would love to hear from you!
